Our story
Once upon a time, Edwige

Our story
It all begins with a family story.
Maison Edwige makes pouches, clutches, scrunchies, phone straps and dog bandanas. Each design is made in a limited series of 50 pieces, and fabric offcuts are reused.
The house bears the name of Edwige, the grandmother of Eva Sauvage, who passed sewing on to her.
Every piece is imagined and made by hand by Eva, in her Rouen atelier. The fabrics are chosen for their prints.
My grandmother had an eye for detail; today I make it my priority. Every piece is topstitched for a perfect, lasting finish.Eva
Once upon a time there was Edwige, Eva's grandmother. She taught Eva to sew on her lap from the age of five. Eva played with the fabrics, sorted the spools of thread, tidied the buttons. For her dolls, Edwige sewed clothes and accessories of every kind.
Today Eva sews in her turn, in Rouen, under her grandmother's name.
Each piece then leaves the atelier wrapped in tissue paper.
Welcome to Maison Edwige.
